General election fundraising by race
About this data and methodology
The candidate roster is based on the Delaware Department of Elections’ qualified 2026 general-election candidate list. Candidate financial figures come from the supplied 30-day general-election reports and reflect each filing’s stated reporting period. “Candidate loans” identifies Schedule D-1 loans attributed to the candidate; vendor-only debts are excluded. Candidates without a supplied candidate-committee report are shown as “No report available,” not as having raised $0.
The in-state comparison uses the mailing state printed for itemized Schedule A contributors across the included periods. Filing rows labeled “TOTAL OF CONTRIBUTIONS NOT EXCEEDING $100” generally do not identify individual donors or addresses; this database displays those aggregate receipt rows and classifies their amounts as in-state donations. Other receipts without an itemized address are shown separately.
Third-party advertiser spending is drawn from Schedule B expenditures in the supplied filings through Oct. 12, 2026. It is never added to a candidate committee’s fundraising. Candidate totals include only expenditures that explicitly name the candidate or allocate an exact amount to that candidate. When a filing prints individual candidate amounts within a grouped payment, those printed allocations are used only after they reconcile to the payment total.
PAC profiles combine the supplied reports covering Aug. 17 through Oct. 4, 2026, and are published only when those reports show expenditures greater than $0. Direct payments to named candidate committees are labeled as PAC donations on PAC profiles, but are not added to “Additional Outside Spending” because candidate committees may also report those donations in Schedule A. PAC administrative and other unattributed spending remains part of the PAC’s reported expenditure total without being assigned to a candidate.
Advertiser profiles aggregate those candidate-attributed expenditures by candidate and preserve the filing’s stated position. Spending labeled as opposition is displayed as benefiting the opposing candidate rather than supporting the candidate targeted by the advertisement.
When a filing explicitly opposes a candidate in a two-person race, the expenditure is shown as a benefit to the sole opponent and labeled “Opposition to …” If a race has more than two candidates—or the filing’s candidate allocations do not reconcile to its expenditure—the money remains unassigned rather than being guessed.
Amended reports replace original reports covering the same period, and duplicate downloads are counted once. Contributor locations are limited to the city and state reported in the filings; street addresses and ZIP codes are not published. Names and locations may contain filing-entry errors. A contributor can appear more than once; search results show transactions, not deduplicated people.
